The Cumulus sofa in detail

Cumulus is a cloud sofa in honeycomb knitted mesh, its seat built from rounded modules of compressible polymer foam. It comes in three formats and eleven shades, with no price difference whichever colour you choose.

Cumulus Petit — round armchair, 1 seat

120 × 120 × 68 cm. The cocoon format, made for a reading corner, a bedroom or a room under 12 m². It is the most compact in the range.

Cumulus Moyen — 2 to 3 seats

195 × 110 × 75 cm. The balance between presence and floor space, suited to a standard living room. It is the most chosen format.

Cumulus Grand — 3 to 4 seats

245 × 110 × 78 cm. The family format, made for having people over. Allow a room of at least 20 m² and check your doorway before ordering.

Materials and making

  • Compressible polymer foam with high resistance to pressure: the seat gives under weight, then returns to its shape.
  • Full inner casing in silk cotton.
  • Honeycomb knitted mesh cover, whose relief gives the sofa its distinctive domed texture.

The eleven shades

Pearl grey, anthracite, sky blue, teal, anise green, fir green, deep red, sun yellow, purple, navy and black. All are available in the three formats, at no extra cost. What you see on screen is calculated from real photographs of the fabric: the relief and the weave are preserved, only the colour changes.

Care

  • Vacuum on low power with a fabric nozzle, following the direction of the knit.
  • Treat stains straight away, with lukewarm water and neutral soap, by blotting.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which dulls the shades.
  • No solvent, no bleach, no tumble dryer.

Delivery and returns

Pieces are shipped from our partner workshop in Asia and carried by air: allow 10 to 21 days between order and delivery. Delivery is free in mainland France, customs duties and import VAT included, with nothing to pay on arrival.

You have fourteen legal days to change your mind from delivery, which we extend commercially to thirty. Every product carries the two-year legal conformity guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size?

Mark the dimensions out on the floor with masking tape and keep at least 60 cm of clearance around the seat. The Petit suits a room under 12 m², the Moyen a standard living room, the Grand from 20 m² upwards. Our full measuring guide sets out the method.

How long will delivery take?

Between 10 and 21 days. Our pieces travel by air, not by sea: you avoid the two to three months that direct import usually takes.

Is the colour on screen accurate?

The rendering is calculated from a real photograph of the fabric, but every screen reproduces colour differently. A free swatch is available on request if the exact shade matters to you.

Does the foam sag over time?

The seat is compressible polymer foam with high resistance to pressure: it gives under weight, then returns to its original shape. The two-year legal conformity guarantee applies in the event of a defect.

Will the sofa fit through my door?

Measure the narrowest passage along the route, stairwell corners included. The Petit fits anywhere; for the Moyen and the Grand, compare the 110 cm depth to your tightest point.
